My father’s family has roots in France and Russia and a deep connexion to the United States: my ancestor Edouard de Laboulaye is known as the “father of the Statue of Liberty”. My mother’s family has roots in France and Scotland My parents were both born in Paris, France, so were my siblings and I. In 2005, I met the father of my son in a plane somewhere above the Atlantic Ocean I became the mother of a tiny Franco-American boy in 2010 Four years later I was receiving my American passport in the mail. So far, Home has been on two continents - Who knows where the future will take me? This project was shot in the abandoned Migrant Hospital of Ellis Island ad is part of a larger book project in process.
